• Monthly weigh-ins with prizes, exercise and nutrition tips and educational seminars
• Weekly e-mails to provide support, help with weight tracking and monitor progress
• A network of support to form exercise groups, share helpful weight loss ideas and provide accountability to keep you on track all year.
• For each pound the Glendale community loses as part of the Ton in '10 goal, Glendale Adventist will donate $1---up to $2,000---to Glendale Healthy Kids!
• Become a participating organization: Challenge your employees, customers or members to participate in the challenge to get healthier and raise money for a good cause.
• Become a sponsor organization: Pledge to donate $ for pounds lost by your company employees or donate goods or services to the challenge participants.

Show of Support Productions is a non-profit organization that helps raise money for local non-profit organizations through the performing arts. Their primary goal is to educate the public and raise awareness for the need to support and sustain programs and services that promote and enhance the “quality of life” in our communities for children and adults. It is the mission of Show of Support to collaborate with like-organizations to help create safe, healthy and violence-free communities. For over 18 years, Show of Support has raised thousands of dollars for charitable organizations. Volunteer actors and actresses of all ages, both professional and aspiring, donate countless hours of rehearsal time to bring culturally enriching experiences in community theatre for all ages and socio-economic groups.

Glendale Downtown Dash 5K Run/Walk
The 1st annual Glendale Downtown Dash 5K Run/Walk benefited Glendale Adventist Medical Center Stroke Services.
The streets of downtown Glendale were closed to traffic to accomodate approximately 500 participants who raised over $50,000. The Glendale Healthy Kids team, led by Captain Corliss Andrade, included 13 members who dressed as medical professionals to represent GHK's generous providers.
